THIS OCTOBER:
THE
FEMME LOCALE
October 3 - November 1

Please join us at
The Palace Gallery any Saturday this
October!
Open Noon - 4pm
for the
8th annual Femme Locale exhibition!

***

The 8th Annual Femme Locale exhibition opens this Friday, and it's gonna be a dilly.
This popular show features the work of the women of Kittitas County, and you'll see that we have stellar artists around here.
Come on in for a visual feast of paintings, sculpture, fiber, ceramics, jewelry and video. There's a huge range of media, subjects and points of view, all tied together by a shared connection to our valley. Many of the artists will be on hand to chat and answer questions about their work. It's gonna be a party! The Palace Gallery holds extended hours during the First Friday Art Walk, so come on in any time from 4p through 8p. We can't wait to say hello!
The Palace Gallery is located at 210 W 4th Ave, upstairs above The Palace Cafe. Look for our new yellow and black signs at the corner and by the door. You can't miss us!
If you can't make it Friday never fear, Femme Locale will be up every Saturday through November 1st from noon-4p. You don't want to miss this joyful show! Thank you for being part of our crowd. We can't wait to share the art with you!
JOIN ARTISTS AT THE PALACE GALLERY FOR MAKER DAY!
OCTOBER 25, 1-3pm
Femme Locale is a collection of work by the women of Kittitas County that includes paintings, sculpture, fiber work, jewelry, ceramics and more.  The spirit of this annual exhibit is connection, community and encouragement. With that in mind, we're hosting a Maker Day! Join us to make art together in an open, gentle, and welcoming environment with other artists. Bring a friend, make a friend, be amazed by the incredible collective we have right here in our midst.  Bring a portable art project like your sketchbook, watercolor painting, hand-built clay work or hand-stitching project.  We’ll have a protected work space set up for you to work on. There’s running water just down the hall, and we'll have paper towels, rinse water cups, and a few other basic art supplies in case you forget something important.  We’ll provide good tunes, simple refreshments and wonderful company! The Maker Day event will be Saturday October 25 from 1-3p during open gallery hours. And yes, please feel free to come in to see the show even if you don't want to make art. This is a no-pressure zone! We can't wait to see you (and your artsy friends) and to make something excellent alongside you!  ITS FREE!
