An open to all Holiday-esque Art Exhibit
50The Palace Gallery is excited to present this year’s Holiday Bizarre!
This OPEN call welcomes artworks (and artists) possibly described as strange, unusual, chance taking, transitional, improvisational, or a new take on an old idea. Bizarre.
Submit any artworks which embrace the quirks, diverse, or divergent nuances of you and your process as a maker. Do you add a heap of skill, a dollop of joy, a splash of chance, and a pinch of dread, mix liberally, and bake at an octave higher than a dolphin’s dorsal fin? Or, are you making work because it is what they are compelled to do, for the cold hard cash, a gift, or to process and decompress busy complicated lives? Whatever it is, or can be to you, submit your artwork in time with the season which finds our communities connected!
The Palace Gallery invites you to submit up to 5 artworks to this diverse array of original artistic expression.
SOME SUBMISSION DETAILS:
This is a cash and carry group exhibit featuring original works of art for $150.00 or less.
This means purchases leave with the customer.
Criteria for submissions:
1. SUBMIT UP TO 5 ORIGINAL WORKS.
2. Drop off Artworks to The Palace Gallery on Sunday, NOV. 30th, Noon to 3pm
3. ALL Work Must be FOR SALE, READY TO HANG and or DISPLAY at the time of drop off for the exhibit.
4. Fill out artists’ consignment form and inventory when you drop off work, or find the form below to download and print ahead of time!
5. ATTEND THE OPENING! SHOW OPENS: December 5st, First Friday @4pm-8pm.
6. Pick up unsold work on Sunday, DEC. 28th. Between 12 and 3pm.
The Palace Gallery is open during Ellensburg’s First Friday Art Walk from 4pm-8 pm
and is open every Saturday 12-4pm
